US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American

Congratulations to Shelby Hill who has been recognized by US Lacrosse as an honorable mention All-American player. Selections are made based on majority vote by an independent selection committee, certified by US Lacrosse to analyze each nominated player throughout the current season.

This is an amazing honor for an individual player, as it sets her among the most elite high school players in the nation. Shelby joins Michaela Garrison and Susan Killeavy from Westwood, 2009 honorable mention All-American players. Congratulations Shelby!!

Player Physicals

Player Physicals
Players are required to have physicals before the start of practice, and forms must be turned in at the registration meeting in September (date tbd). More information is available on the Athletics page of the district website (above). Please note that we need a copy of these forms for our records, as Westwood does not make them available to us, and the club cannot request them from the district or school.

Varsity wins Semi-Final against Cedar Park

Varsity advances to District Finals on Monday with a win against Cedar Park 17 - 14. Many parents think it's because we had Xavier at the game for good luck.
The top two teams in the district go to State Playoffs in two weeks, so Westwood is State Bound!
The Finals game on Monday against St Stephens is to decide seed at state.
